| Lincoln Zephyr Mid-Size Luxury Sedan |
| A stylish luxury sedan shows up in Lincoln's line for
2006 called Zephyr, namesake from ancient Greece for the mythic
god of the west wind but also a streamlined Lincoln from 1936
packing a V12 engine. Zephyr of 2006 also shows a streamlined
package and luxury-car cabin but the engine has only half
the number of cylinders of its 1936 predecessor.
Powertrain is a dual-cam 3.0-liter V6 with 210 hp managed
through a six-speed automatic. Standard safety systems include
dual front air bags and seat-mounted side air bags for each
front seat plus curtain-style air bags concealed above side
windows for head protection of front and rear riders.
Cabin content ranges from soft leather upholstery on seats
to trimwork in real wood (dark ebony or light maple) and satin-finish
aluminum, white electroluminescent lighting for instruments,
twin-zone climate controls, a navigation system and deluxe
THX audio components.
Surprising new themes for products emerge in the 2006 slate
of products by Lincoln from the Lincoln-Mercury Division of
Ford Motor Company. Lincoln classics return, such as elegant
Town Car the flagship sedan and humongous Navigator the premium
SUV, plus the LS sport-tuned performance sedan. Yet Lincoln
gets a new mid-size luxury sedan called Zephyr, as well as
Lincoln's first truck -- the Mark LT with full-size dimensions
and a plush five-seat cabin. |

| Lincoln Mark LT Full-Size Luxury Pickup Truck |
| The first pickup for Lincoln -- riding on the full-size
chassis of Ford's best-selling F-150 truck -- shows a profile
that's similar to F-150 but Lincoln design cues apply, such
as the waterfall grille up front, a band of shiny chrome ringing
the vehicle and four thick-spoke wheels plated in chrome.
Inside the four-door cab, there's genuine wood accents with
soft leather covering all seats and textured aluminum dotting
door panels and the front console.
And there's a truck-strong powertrain on tap with Ford's 5.4-liter
Triton V8 kicking out 300 hp. High power and torque ratings
for the Triton engine make the Mark LT worthy for towing a
hefty trailer, as maximum tow capacity rises to 8900 pounds
and payload capacity in the truck's back bed tallies to 1620
pounds.
Optional gear extends to four-wheel-drive (4WD) traction,
power adjustable pedals, a power moonroof and running boards.

| Lincoln Navigator Full-Size Luxury Sport Utility Vehicle |
| Lincoln's luxurious full-size SUV stocks a massive V8
engine and a vast cabin for seven or eight passengers on three
tiers with a standard third-row bench that tucks into the
cargo floor.
Navigator's 5.4-liter V8 delivers 300 hp through a six-speed
automatic transmission. For safety, the AdvanceTrac anti-skid
gizmo with Roll Stability Control (RSC) is aboard, along with
curtain-style air bags, and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) model
is available.
Lincoln's big SUV provides an extensive array of standard
features in two variations labeled Luxury and Ultimate. The
Ultimate edition adds power to open the rear liftgate, a power
moonroof, heated and cooled front bucket seats plus power
controls for folding the third-row seat into the floor. New
Elite Package for Ultimate applies 18-inch chrome wheels,
a navigation system, Soundmark deluxe audio gear, high intensity
discharge (HID) headlamps, a backseat video entertainment
kit and power running boards.

| Lincoln Mark LT Fullsize Luxury Pickup |
| The Mark LT is a luxurious truck -- the first pickup for
Lincoln -- using the fullsize chassis of Ford's best-selling
F-150 truck. Lincoln's first truck will come together on the
line at Dearborn Truck Plant in Michigan where Ford's F-150
is assembled.

| Lincoln LS Mid-Size Luxury Sport Sedan |
| Lincoln's touring sedan employs the label of LS, as in
Luxury Sport. With mid-size dimensions and four doors fixed
on a leather-lined cabin for five riders, the tight machine
rides on a rigid unibody structure and features liberal applications
of lightweight aluminum for body panels and suspension components.
Lincoln whittles LS to a single trim -- the V8 Sport, which
gains a chrome grille, round foglamps in front fascia and
17-inch aluminum wheels. The LS V8 Sport carries a 3.9-liter
aluminum V8 worth 280 hp through a five-speed electronic automatic
transmission with H-gate SelectShift controls.
Two new optional packages (Elite and Premium) show up this
year, each stacking more popular equipment aboard. Standard
safety gear includes an anti-lock brake system (ABS) with
electronic brake force distribution (EBD), as options range
from side curtain-style air bags to Ford's AdvanceTrac electronic
stability enhancement system.
